Dancing West Coast Rains
On a cold winter day in Parksville, where the rain could have been snow if only a couple of degrees cooler, Bethany and I had a little dance session at Rathtrevor Park. No rain jacket for this shoot, just her favorite plaid T-shirt, the one she calls her “camping shirt!” When clients ask me what they should wear, I always tell them to dress in something they love and feel comfortable in. Bethany’s outfit choice was perfect for this West Coast, Wet Coat session. By the end of our shoot, her hair was completely wet and her fingers were starting to turn red! Rathtrevor Beach Park is one of my most popular shooting locations as there is a wonderful variety to shoot in. From second growth Douglas Fir forest, to pebbly and sandy beaches, this place is amazing for sunsets and taking families with minimal travel if you’re coming from the Oceanside area.
