I photographed Jillian for a mini portrait session last winter. It was a mild Vancouver Island winter day, and our thirty minutes together were dry and perfect! Our quick mini-session was very successful as we got a variety of poses and she ended up with quite a few head shots to choose from for grad portraits, new Facebook profile pictures, sending pictures to her family, etc. Grandparents love hanging their grandchildren’s pictures on the walls, and usually only receive the ones from your school portraits. I love offering these mini portrait sessions to the Parksville, Qualicum Beach, and Nanaimo areas. They are taken in an outdoor setting and totally beat the green and library book backgrounds of the regular school portraits.
