Little Qualicum Falls Engagement Photos ~ A Sunny September Day
Jill and Connor enjoyed their Little Qualicum Falls engagement photos on a warm and beautiful day in September. These two live in Saskachewan together, and will be travelling to Vancouver Island’s popular Tigh Na Mara Resort in Parksville for their spring wedding. Fortunately, these two LOVE to travel. Despite the great distance between the Island and Prairies, we have been able to meet up three times before their wedding date. They chose Tigh Na Mara as their all-inclusive wedding venue. They hope to marry outdoors at the gazebo which overlooks the ocean, marrying in the sun with family and friends. The beach is very alluring to them, as Saskachewan doesn’t have ocean access. Their guests will enjoy a spring getaway to the Island for their destination wedding on Vancouver Island. Guests might even make it to Little Qualicum Falls!
Their engagement session would be our first meeting, and it was so great to get to know them. The comfort created at the engagement session is very valuable. I loved hearing at the end of their session, “We felt so comfortable and it wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it would be.” Excellent! This helps remove any worries about taking awkward photos on the actual wedding day, and you learn the poses I will likely ask you to move into.
When discussing the engagement session, I asked Jill and Connor where in nature they envisioned themselves. The beach, forest, mountaintop, lake, or waterfalls? They liked the idea of Little Qualicum Falls for it’s waterfall and forest settings. I took them to a secret spot and they loved it! The main waterfall has a brown chain-link fence to protect people from falling, but even with this fence in the photos, the setting is still gorgeous!
Congratulations Jill and Connor!
