An Intimate Nanoose Airbnb Wedding
Maher and Yili celebrated their love with an intimate wedding ceremony at a beautiful Nanoose Airbnb. They invited their closest family members including their parents and siblings. The Airbnb home had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, allowing guests to get ready and spend quality time together throughout the day.
The overall feel of this Airbnb is bright, clean, and somewhat whimsical. The decorations included gold-painted oyster shells, art deco pillows, metal apples, geometric hanging shapes, and more. I’m terrible at describing it- help I need an interior decorator’s description! But wow, how beautifully designed. A huge bonus to having a wedding at this Nanoose Airbnb is that you don’t need to decorate. It’s already beautiful! The big living room windows overlooking the ocean were the perfect setting for their ceremony. Being April on Vancouver Island, the day was on-and-off with rain, so the couple opted to marry indoors. The other options here for ceremony location are in the field, on the patio or on private beach. The staircase leading down to the beach is quite lengthy and seriously impressive as it takes you down a cliff!
Yili is a stylish gal, who chose to wear two wedding dresses. This is common; the big beautiful, somewhat restrictive dress is usually worn during the ceremony and formal photos. Sometimes, brides choose to change into a reception dress which is easier to dance in, sit in, pee in! Great choices, Yili!
