Sabrina & Ian’s Parksville Beach Wedding at the Bayside Resort
Sabrina and Ian moved to the Parksville community a few years ago and decided to have their wedding here too. They chose the Bayside Resort for its beautiful ocean views and easy beach access, as well as it being located less than five minutes from their home. Sabrina got ready at their Parksville home with her mom and dad, while Ian prepared for the day in his sons hotel room, who was staying at the Bayside Resort. Through the hotel room balcony, Ian could look off at the ocean, as well as the ceremony location on the grassy field by the gazebo. It was a peaceful June morning.
Sabrina and Ian are one of many couples whose wedding plans were affected by Covid-19. They rescheduled their date many times in hopes of having their European and far-travelling family members by their side. In the end, they were happy to have a very intimate group of family with them, including new neighbor friends, and Airbnb host friends! An online live video recording was in place during the ceremony for family and friends to watch from all over the world. Thank goodness for Zoom! After their ceremony, Sabrina and Ian took their intimate formal portraits at Rathtrevor Beach. These two LOVE walking. They walk the neighborhood streets, they walk the trails, they LOVE to take walks. So they were pleased to incorporate a little one during their wedding day and enjoy the beach views as they do every day. Congratulations you two! ♥
