A Moorecroft Park Wedding for Sofia and Ross

Moorecroft Park Wedding

Sofia and Ross’s Moorecroft Park Wedding ~ Eloping with their Dog and Closest People!

Sofia and Ross eloped in Nanoose Bay’s beautiful Moorecroft Park in July, with a record low-tide and brilliant warm sunshine. Sofia’s parents travelled from Germany, and local family and friends joined in as well. They brought their fur baby too, as Moorecroft Park is a dog-friendly Nanoose park! Sofia’s dad surprised the couple with two saxophone songs during their ceremony, which was just so peaceful and special to hear in nature during the significant moment. Sofia’s personal vows to her hubby Ross were spoken twice, once in English and again in Germany for her family to hear. Jane Good of Circle Ceremonies performed their beautiful ceremony, which included a handfasting tradition and a ring blessing ritual as well. Jane had a family member fill a seashell with ocean water, and the rings were placed inside. They were taken out of the shell and then passed along to every person present at their wedding to give them well wishes and blessings. This was a truly peaceful wedding in a stunning location. Congratulations you two!
