A Beautiful Jordan River Wedding in October
Tory and Eric are MARRIED! Tory decided on a Jordan River wedding and had booked the group campsite at French Beach Regional Park many months in advance. She knew she was gambling with the date and weather, but she was so casually optimistic about October 22nd being a beautiful day on the West Coast. Well, it actually came to fruition! It was sunny and warm for them in late October! This felt like a special gift from nature to them, but wasn’t the only gift. Whales were seen breaching throughout the entire day, seen from the beach below their campsite. It was the grooms first time ever seeing whales! Pelicans were also seen floating with the sea kelp that morning. A lady sitting on the beach remarked, “I come here all the time and so rarely see Pelicans.”
I loved how the girls and guys got ready in two trailers side by side, powered by a running truck. Kids were running around having the time of their lives for literally hours and hours. Family and best friends travelled from the USA to be with them on their special wedding day. Lots of laughter was had. It felt like a family reunion at the beach.
Tory and Eric’s cowboy/cowgirl boots sitting on a ferny log with their rings was so fitting of their past, present and future. These two moved here from Texas, and are embracing all that the West Coast is. Congratulations you two!
