Only in Errington..
…will you drive up to your home to find your girlfriend wearing a vintage wedding dress having a tea party with her friend on a chilly October evening nearing sundown. Okay, well maybe you have experienced this before in some way or another, but what’s really “Errington” about this is the fact that an uninvited guest showed up. He showed up and there wasn’t a cup that would fit his lips, there wasn’t a beautiful vintage dress to slip onto his hips, and I just knew he would be totally uncooperative when it came to posing and photographing him. Mr. Black Bear, go back into the woods, please!
You are gorgeous in that Vintage Wedding dress, wherever did you get it?
Vintage, wedding, dresses. Lace, virgin white, collars and full length sleeves. The best part? You can find these gems at your local thrift store for a fraction of the cost of a new wedding dress. Sure you might have to do some searching and digging, but who doesn’t love a good thrift hunt? You can always get them altered and adjusted by a seamstress, they do fabulous work! There’s also something about reusing a wedding dress too that adds a touch of magic. Another woman has a story in that dress, memories and a life that was effected by the very day she wore it. Congrats to Kierra here for finding this beauty for $50 at the local Society of Organized Services, that’s SOS to us locals ;)
A great reason to wear your Prom Dress again!
Another wonderful reason to have a tea party on a crisp Autumn day is to have an occasion to wear your beautiful prom dress! Oh yes! And Emily’s is an absolute stunner. The color, the sparkle, the open back and two-piece design of it makes it a unique gown. Albeit freezing, it was the perfect attire for this party.
